Faith is an assurance by God of our hopes. It conveys a certain something from God that stands beneath, and supports, our hopes, transforming them into a reality.
Faith apprehends reality: it is that to which the unseen objects of hope become real and substantial. Assurance gives the true idea. It is the firm grasp of faith of an unseen fact.
